I just talked to a friend who is very anti-Homestuck. She said there's a game going around where people try to steal horns from Homestuck cosplayers without touching them. I've talked to her, explained why this is a horrible thing to do, but I don't know how far out this reaches- she said her friend has eight pairs he's stolen.

Apparently this is primarily targeted at the bad fans. You know, the 'buckets and fuckass' ones. The ones who try and force it down peoples' throats. But I'll be honest- it shouldn't happen to ANYONE, and I don't trust the average joe to know or care about the difference between a good one and a bad when they see a pair of fallen horns ripe for the picking.

So PLEASE, at your next convention (I'm in Austin, so A-Kon and Anime Overload for me) watch out for your horns, and the horns of others! Secure them well, and if you see someone take a pair be sure to report them to con security.

Overall this is a good reason to travel in groups at conventions, it keeps everyone safe.
